How do you upgrade your camp in Red Dead Redemption 2? Arthur is in charge of improving the gang's main camp in Red Dead Redemption 2, so you get to decide how the camp's funds are spent. You can use the camp's money to upgrade various things like food variety, general comfort, ammo and medicine stockpiles, and other extras.

How to upgrade the gang's camp in Red Dead Redemption 2

To upgrade the main camp in Red Dead Redemption 2, head over to the donation box behind Dutch's tent. The money in this box is the camp's overall funds, which can be used to improve elements of the camp.

To see what you can upgrade, check the ledger, which is found next to the donation box. The ledger contains a list of incoming funds from everyone in the camp. Press R1 to turn the page and you'll find a list of potential upgrades. Keep turning the pages to find upgrades for different parts of the camp.

Each upgrade costs money, with further upgrades costing more. These costs are taken directly from the camp funds, not your own wallet, so if you want to spend some cash on upgrades, you'll need to transfer money from your wallet to the donation box first.

All of these upgrades are worth the trouble. By improving provisions, for example, the camp will use up food much more slowly, stopping gang members from going hungry as often. By upgrading Dutch's tent, other gang members will donate money on a more regular basis, making the whole process that much easier.
