PlayStation Access is back with a meaty chunk of Spyro: Reignited Trilogy gameplay. Clocking in at 45 minutes, the video's stuffed with things to see, as the team plays through a level from each of the remade Spyro titles.
This isn't the first time that we've seen the Reignited Trilogy in action on PlayStation 4, but it continues to impress. Developer Toys for Bob seems to have really captured the magic of the original games, all while giving them a gorgeous graphical overhaul.

This was so much fun to play at EGX in Birmingham last weekend. Brought so many memories of playing it back on PS1. Looking forward to it being released in November.
Looks so good, truly hyped for this. I do hope they get all three titles on 1 disc.
Yep, that's a game I'm going to enjoy.
i wonder if sammy.is cool with the people at PlayStation access.word up son
If they don't sell all three titles on disc, I won't buy. We don't need Switch-rules on PlayStation.
Recently replayed the Spyro games on PS1, and I can confirm they did a good job of capturing the same feel of the original games.
Is it 45 minutes of game play b/c that's how long it takes to download games 2 and 3 after you insert the disc.
Vid brings back a lot of memories, mostly good. But I always hated those under water crystals when trying to 100% a level, if I was missing one thats' always were it was. And the jump glide when he would smash face first into the wall just below the top. Though the Spyro games are probably why Jak & Daxter became my favorite game of all time, almost every long jump you would barely miss, but then grab onto the ledge and pull yourself up. I think J&D was the first plaoformer I played that had that ledge grab mechanic, made he hate every other platformer where the character wouldn't grab on. Wouldn't have appreciated that little aspect so much if not for Spyro.
I still can't get too excited though. While this may be a big deal for a PS1 trilogy we already went through this several times on PS3 with HD remasters of J&D, Sly and R&C. I enjoyed all of those on PS2, bought them on PS3, but rarely played them. Once the ooh and aah of nice graphics wears off it's all "Oh I remember this, I remember this." I only really play games for what's new.
One thing I wish that companies did with all the old platformers like this is add an optional "grab" feature. The remake of Turok 2 has it and it makes the platforming sections WAAAAY easier. Now, if you miss a jump by a little bit, you can hoist yourself up instead of plummeting down and starting over.
JUST MY 2 CENTS. Missing a jump and starting over was always my biggest peeve in these kinda games.
Hyped to play this come November.
Birthday that month day 1 purchase for me
I need this game
Hopefully it is fully on disc and they have another sale
I'm ignoring this video and all others, want to play the Trilogy without any remaster leaks.
Literally so hyped for this.
November needs to hurry up!
Enter the Dragonfly as DLC would be good.
All games on disc, or no deal.
