We know, we know -- here's yet another pixel art platformer inspired by 90s era games with Metroidvania elements. This type of game is plentiful on PlayStation, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing, and Timespinner is doing some interesting stuff to stand out.

One of the key aspects of this game is the Time-stop ability which, surprise, allows the player character, Lunais, to pause time whenever you like for a limited, er, time. This freezes all enemies in place, allowing you to use them as platforms, or to just better position yourself. Presumably it'll also be used for some environmental puzzles, too. The combat sounds interesting, as well. You'll find orbs throughout the game that all offer a melee attack, a magic attack, and a passive ability, and they can all be leveled up as you use them.

It sounds like it could be pretty good, and the above trailer certainly looks decent. Timespinner is out on 25th September for both PS4 and PS Vita, and it'll support Cross-Buy. Are you interested in this one? Time to leave a comment below.
