Ditching a single player campaign in favour of three multiplayer modes with much longer potential lifespans could prove to be a smart decision in the end, but Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 doesn't half look like an odd package as a result. The shooter is almost here, and its launch trailer throws together footage from traditional multiplayer, zombies, and the brand new Blackout battle royale mode.

The result is a little peculiar. It's proabably just because we're not used to it, but we can't help but feel like the new Call of Duty looks a bit disjointed. The zombies mode in particular stands out, as we see one group going up against a tiger with glowing red eyes in a gladiatorial arena, before the video cuts to regular military shooter action a few seconds later. We're sure it'll all be fun enough, it just doesn't mesh well in a trailer like this.

Anyway, are you hyped for Black Ops 4? Which of the game's three modes are you most excited to play? Slap on some warpaint in the comments below.
