It was only yesterday that Treyarch updated the beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Blackout mode, when it implemented the Fast Collapse playlist among several other tweaks. In the latest update, the developer is back with more changes, including a new match type to test out.

It's called Close Quarters, and it pits solo players against one another, all of whom only have access to close range weaponry, such as shotguns, SMGs, and pistols. We like the fact that the beta is changing over time -- it shows that Treyarch is invested in making sure its spin on Battle Royale is as good as can be when the full game launches in October.

Elsewhere, several new characters have been added, including Mason, Menendez, Reznov, and Woods, and a Call of Duty staple, the Killcam, has been enabled, allowing you to see how you met your demise. Click here to see more detail on the new update.
