Horizon Zero Dawn PS4 PlayStation 4 1

Port house Panic Button is making a name for itself on the Nintendo Switch by converting “console” games like Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Warframe to the handheld device. And in an interview with Comicbook.com, the studio admitted that there’s one particular title it’d love to have a crack at: Guerrilla Games’ gorgeous open world role-playing game Horizon: Zero Dawn.

While it’s an impossibility given that the PlayStation 4 exclusive is owned by Sony, we also wonder whether it would be feasible from a technical stance, too. The Dutch developer has always been renowned for pushing PlayStation hardware to its absolute limits, and Aloy’s inaugural adventure remains one of the most impressive visual feasts created to date.

It’s also a deeply immersive experience that, in this author’s opinion, benefits from a large screen and a beefy sound system. To be fair to Panic Button, it did admit that it’d essentially have to re-work the title to make it run on Nintendo’s portable platform, and even then it’d be practically impossible. Y’all may have to make do with 2011’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim instead. Helluva PlayStation 3 game, that one.
