Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is looking absolutely wonderful, and these new screenshots are just another example. Presenting the third game in the trilogy for the first time - Spyro: Year of the Dragon - they show how developer Toys for Bob is unifying the three titles with a consistent visual style, and it looks great.
We're very much looking forward to playing these games once again, although the fact you'll have to download the latter two titles puts a bit of a dampener on things. What do you think of these new shots? Are you excited for Spyro: Reignited Trilogy? Glide elegantly into the comments below.

I usually buy $40 games digital so it's not a problem for me, although I'm sure it's annoying for people that plan to buy the physical version.
Yet they cant unify the game all on one disc. Rim Shot
No sale, due to games not being on the disc.
Pity, this was going to be Day One like Crash.
I'll get this next year for less on a Plus sale or something.

Looks fine, they did a good job with it. However, I'm waiting until it's significantly cheaper before buying it, since they cut corners by not having all 3 games on the disk.
Good to see skateboarding Spyro is looking as good as ever.
I have it pre-ordered, and it will sit on my shelf until I am finished with Spider-Man and Tomb Raider.
Will be getting it day one. I m only digital so the disc thing doesn't bother me but it really is unfortunate for those who want physical.
The whole download thing seems interesting. First they said 2 and 3 weren't on the disc but when someone asked on Twitter they said they were on the disc but needed an update to unlock them. Very inconsistent, which is it?

I'm still miffed that they only have Spyro 1 on disc, but that won't be stopping me from buying the Trilogy during Black Friday/Holiday sales.
This feels like the Xbox One rollout debacle.
Activision is playing with fire here and will regret it.
If all three games are on the disc, they need to say it.
If they had some 'unlock' policy, they better change it.
It's going to be very obvious what's going on at launch.
They need to fix this now, before blowing all their sales.
Some people care way too much about physical. Most of us don't give a rat's behind about it.
Day 1 purchase for me, i pretty much buy all digital now its way easier for me.
So what! NO SALE! Unless activision's shady practice of a single player game requiring the internet are changed. Will not be purchasing, as it was a day 1 on my list before that. Oh well...
