Spin-off shmup Earth Defense Force 4.1: Wingdiver The Shooter has stealth launched in North America for $19.99. Originally available in Japan, the title flew to Steam in April, but now can be purchased on the PlayStation 4.
“Players will step into the shoes of a soldier in Pale Team, an elite branch of the EDF’s Wing Diver division, and once again fight in the world featured in Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair,” the product description reads.
You’ll find over 60 weapons, which you’ll use to dispatch bugs across six missions. For optimal enjoyment, we recommend playing while chanting “EDF! EDF! EDF!” over and over again.

Isn't Earth defense force 5 coming supposedly this year? I have wanted to play this series for a while now but figured I would hold off until the newest came out.

@Pink_Floyd The engine, gameplay and rough production will be exactly the same really. If you spot any of them for under £20, they are well worth losing a few hours to.
Nice price but to expensive to buy with import tax and postage its fun but not worth €40 or so.
Of COURSE this would come out when I'm about to be out of town for the weekend
