Just not quite sure what Divinity: Original Sin II - Definitive Edition actually is? Well you're in luck, because Bandai Namco's pumped out an informative new trailer that goes over practically everything that you can expect. From the game's in-depth character creation to the deep and tactical combat, there's plenty here to whet your appetite.
Original Sin II launched on PC earlier this year, and it was swamped in praise from critics and role-playing fans alike. The Definitive Edition features a bunch of enhancements, too, so as the name suggests, PlayStation 4 users can look forward to the definitive version of the game. Or so we hope, anyway.

Still have to play the first. I'm kinda scared of it, too much content. ^^
It looks just like the first one with extra bells and whistles. Lovely stuff.
@Cornaboyzzz I found there was a 15-20 hour hump you had to get over where you just get your ass handed to you. I've found the same with the second one, too. Perhaps even harder, actually. But at about 20 hours I'm at a point where I can hold my own in battle.
The new music is pretty great. I remembered the composer from the last (and previous) Divinity games unfortunately died so they have had to find someone else. It does show to be honest but like I say, it's good.
Who'll be reviewing this one? @Quintumply I think you did the first one, no? Wasn't it a 10?
@kyleforrester87 I did review the first one (9/10), but @johncalmc is handling the sequel
If you're stuck on the first, it may be worth looking at some good build guides to help you. They're both such fantastic games. Hope this sells well as Larian are one of the few remaining decent RPG devs out there. Can't wait to get into it after my pc version wasn't running well.
Hope the controls aren't going to be as clunky as the first one.
The trailer looks great. I think I would really enjoy this if I had 400 hours extra to pump into it. Unfortunately it just looks too big and complex.
@Th3solution The first one was about 100-120 hours and you could probably do it in 60-70. This one is about 70-80 hours I understand, of course you could go slower. But I don't think you'd get 400 hours out of it lol
@uMuffin the controls were about as good as could be expected to be fair. They did a very good job moving it over to console.
@kyleforrester87 That’s good to know. I could consider it for 70-100 hours if it is really good.
