The 1930s co-op shooter Strange Brigade is almost upon us, and with it comes the obligatory launch trailer. The promising third person supernatural shooter has a great style and a unique vibe that we've come to rather enjoy, but something that hasn't been discussed too much is its small group of playable characters.
Up to now, we've known about the four shown in all the various promotional material, and they each have unique weapons and special abilities, making who you play as a more interesting choice. Today, Rebellion has announced a fifth character to round off the launch roster, named Winston Bey. He'll be available for free to all who pre-order or purchase the game within the first month of release, which is a nice bonus.
We currently have industrious reviewer Alex Stinton beavering away on Strange Brigade right now, and it isn't long to go before you'll be able to play it for yourselves. Are you excited for this unusual shooter? Don't spill your Earl Grey in the comments below.

Shame that there is little to no hype for this game or is it just me.
@Hapuc It's not releasing at the best time, really. A shame, because it's a solid multiplayer shooter.
@Quintumply True but even if they delay the game when can they release it tbh Fall Definetly not with games that are coming, winter def not, maybe spring next year and we don't know what will release then.
This is why you release games in June and July. Developers have to take more advantage of that dead period. At least for me, all the games I wanted that aren't blockbuster were pushed back to late August at the least.
@Quintumply Will we get reviews before or after the game releases?
