See that trailer we've embedded above? It's the latest promotional video for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which is due out in September. It showcases some lovely looking environments, and it uses music from Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Wait, what?

No, it's true. As pointed out by RobinGaming over on Twitter, the trailer uses the percussion from a track that appears in Uncharted 2. When you're done watching it, listen to the video below -- it's 'Cornered' from the Uncharted 2 soundtrack, and it plays during some combat encounters. The percussion kicks in at 1 minute and 17 seconds -- the only difference is that it has other instruments layered on top.

Mental, eh? As if the new Tomb Raider games and Uncharted don't get compared enough already, we've now got official marketing material for Tomb Raider using music from Naughty Dog's series.

We have to wonder how this happened -- perhaps it's some sort of sample? Even if that is the case, then it still does Tomb Raider no favours. We guess if you can't beat them, you gotta join them.
