Final Fantasy VIII's Rinoa Will Bring Explosive Dogs to Dissidia NT

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT's next downloadable content character has been revealed, and it's Rinoa Heartilly from Final Fantasy VIII. Hopefully her inclusion puts a smile on Squall's grumpy mug.

Rinoa appears to be faithfully recreated in Team Ninja's arena fighter. She comes equipped with her frisbee launcher thing, and yes, she can shoot her faithful dog at her enemies.

I would love for a remaster of FF8 but the way SE are handling 7 Remake I've lost interest in it and I am.not looking forward to it at all. 7 is my fav of all time in the series and I stopped enjoying them after 10/10 X2 I tried 13 hated it with such a passion I snapped the disc in half. But if this were next on the cards for remaster they screw it up

@Nakatomi_Uk Judging by how FFVII Remake is going we wouldn't get a VIII Remake until... 2040 at the earliest.

Heartilly - thats a rubbish surname. It nearly made me sick. That surnames right up there with Handcock, Boobley and winterbottom in rubbish surnames.

My dog passed away today so seeing Rinoa's dog here just made me smile. We don't really know how much they mean to us until they're gone.

Looks good, but it's such a shame all of this is wasted since this particular Dissidia just wasn't very good at all. Maybe next time, just make it play similarly to PSP Dissidia, make it 1v1 focused once again and allow playing multiplayer offline with one PS4, then we'll talk.
