To be fair to the Xbox maker, Microsoft put on a rock solid press conference at this year's E3, showing off a whopping 50 upcoming games. While a bunch of them (15, in fact) were exclusive to the console, a ton more were just getting a world premiere. That means the vast majority of these games are also coming to PlayStation 4.
Below, we've rounded up all of the relevant stories.

Thought it was a really good showcase of games for the next few years. None of the trailers lasted too long, the presentation was slick and overall it was a really enjoyable watch.
A few of the announcements were a little lacking on info (Halo, Battletoads etc) and there weren't any big exclusives outside of the usual known quantities Forza, Gears etc.
But like I say, in general just a great showcase of games whether you're mostly on Xbox or PS4.
I think it's great that they're continuing to commit to Game Pass as well.
Battle Toads! Did that actually just happen?
I would have thought Battletoads would have got a better reaction out of the crowd? They didn't seem to care at all. I guess I'm just old and actually remember it more fondly.
Battletoads is just something that gained traction on websites from fanboys who acted like the original was some classic and it def wasn’t so the new one probably won’t sell.
@Splat alot of people have ptsd from those games lol myself included
was a nice show for gamers but nothing special for xbox only gamers.
most of the exclusives are timed or just meh. no real system seller either. overall a good show but nothing that promotes xbox itself.
What were the 15 new exclusives because all I saw was like 90 percent multiplats and the usual suspects of gears,forza and halo
@shonenjump86 Yeah but they didn't seem to want to show it. I wouldn't get your hopes up for that.
@get2sammyb of course. Still, I’m just amazed a new game is in the works. They better not mess this up.
Actors pretending to be gamers cringe speak aside, I thought The Division 2 looked really good in a very familiar way.
When they announced Ninja Theory acquisition, people were like:
@PS_Nation RIP Ninja Theory
I thought it was a very good and solid show. But man are they still suffering for exclusive content. All their big names were there. Halo. Gears (like 10 new Gears?) and of course Forza. And seem like they hinted at Fable 4.
And a few other exclusives. But I would say about 90% of their content was multiplatform. But they had the "honor" to show it off first.
@ToddlerNaruto MS will take good care of Ninja Theory. /s
@PS_Nation Tell that to Rare
@PS_Nation Ninja Theory has a Youtube video up where they explain why they sold out to microsoft by contradicting themselves a lot.
I'll save you the trouble here is the summary: "we always wanted to remain inbetween AAA and Indie and be in control of what games we make: So as soon as we were given the chance we sold ourselves to microsoft"
Microsoft pacing is near perfect, it's the right mix of showing games and talking, just like sony e3 2016. Most of the game is 3rd party though.
I want sony back to e3 2016 pacing rather than e3 2017.
It was a really good conference. It's good to hear that Xbox is improving. They're far from done but hopefully it continues.
