Bethesda's Starfield is real, and it's a game for the next generation, according to studio boss Todd Howard. Speaking at the company's E3 2018 press conference, Howard wheeled out a short teaser trailer that shows... Well, not a lot. But it's definitely happening, and it's most likely a PS5 game.

Looking forward to seeing more... It was expected for last years show...
The game really has potential and it's great to know that's a single-player game, he said that during the conference if I'm not mistaken,
I'm excited. If it's anything like The Elder Scrolls, I'm in.
Once it gets closer ill be really excited for it but im typically into more grounded stuff like gritty ol fallout.
I'm definitely interested just by it being single player and Bethesda, but the outer space sci-fi theme is what sold me!
Oh Beth, you teasing buggers.
Much more interested in this than any other Bethesda game, just wish they'd showed us a bit more!
Wait so it is 100% single player or does it have Some form of MP/coop?
@jdv95 I believe Todd Howard introduced it as a single-player game.
That next gen smoke is really starting to appear. Kodera comments, Phil mentioning next box yesterday, a few games like Starfield and Cyberpunk being 2020 or later. Those times are coming.
Microsoft: Ha, NOPE.
