For the last few years, Sony has hosted a PlayStation E3 Experience event across the Americas and Canada that allows members of the public to watch its E3 press conference live in theatres. It's back once again for E3 2018, and Sony has just detailed what you can expect on the PlayStation Blog.
Attendees will net a poster and some other physical goodies, and will be able to claim some digital freebies via the Experience PlayStation app. Tickets for the event go live on Tuesday 5th June at 11am PDT, but you'll need to be quick -- they're free, after all. If you miss out on tickets, you'll also be able to simply turn up and queue for a seat at your nearest participating theatre. Again, you'll need to be hasty, as these seats are given out on a first come, first served basis. There are fewer venues taking part this year, so if you want to get in on the action, it's best to act quickly.
You can check out the full rundown of participating theatres through here. Will you be attending to watch Sony's press conference this year? Get hyped in the comments below.

I'm gonna try to get tickets like I do every year but I don't have high hopes of actually attaining them.
Nyc is the place to be .word up son
Wish I could be there in person... kinda not possible being skint of money right now. Oh well, there is always PSX later this year, or E3 next year.
No San Francisco this time around ðŸ˜
@playstation1995 Don't you think it's weird the Playstation theater in Times square isn't listed?

The E Walk is only 2 blocks away but why not also have it at the Playstation?
Wonder why so few theatres this year? Maybe cos of the recent blockbusters coming out meant less cinemas weren't willing to free up a screen.
Just read in one of the comments that the cinema chain there using is Regal wheres previous years they used AMC so that might explain it.
And they just completely skipped over Arizona this year. I guess I can't really blame them, I don't want to be here either.
None in the UK? Booo-urns.
Closest one is Chicago, a solid 3 to 4 hours away. I think I will just watch it at home with my theater set-up.
@Enuo Visiting Arizona is somewhere in the top 10 of my bucket list, though.
@LieutenantFatman Would be really interesting to see who'd turn up at the theaters at 2am. I know I would!
Gone the last three years, but now the closest one to me is 3 hours away, so... guess I'm not going this year. Honestly really sad. Had a nice collection of posters and lanyards from it.
Was it last year that the ticket site completely crashed for everyone? That was a nightmare.
@Kidfried Try living here.
Can’t wait for the E3 and all the amazing Sony exclusives.

I was getting excited, but then remembered I wouldn’t be able to just tune out during Ghost of Tsushima to avoid spoilers. I want those goodies though lol.
