UK Sales Charts: Far Cry 5 Is No.1 for Second Week Running

A quiet week

The latest weekly UK chart is in, and, well, not a whole lot has changed. Ubisoft's Far Cry 5, the fastest selling title in the franchise, is still top of the pile. In fact, the top three hasn't changed; FIFA 18 and Sea of Thieves remain in second and third place respectively.

A lack of notable new releases means the chart is largely the same as last week, with a couple of movers and shakers dotted about. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has reemerged in the top 10, perhaps in light of the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy announcement, while Star Wars Battlefront 2, which had dropped out of the top 40 altogether, reenters at No.16 thanks to a fresh retail push.

Very undeserved if my brother's playthrough is anything to go by. It presents itself like some sort of commentary on gun society but in the end it's dumb fun like GTA. Not a bad thing in itself but that setting feels so tacked on. P.s.the voice-overs are bad RPG level!

@Feena Yeah but you have to respect any game that gives you the option to have a mullet. That goes against almost every design rule there is.

2 platformers in the top 10?! These truly are N.Sane times we live in!
Far Cry 5 deserves all its success, its just over the top explodedy, bang bang fun!
And yes, of course my character has a mullet, like a well dressed Macgyver.

The game deserves it. It's so beautiful and the gunplay is fantastic! I'm glad the game doesn't go deep into politics. I play games to escape from the real world.

@NinjaWaddleDee Agree! It has a quite a few tongue in cheek and good humour moments - even poking fun at themselves. If you find the director, his two missions are certainly poking fun. The main story isn't all that memorable but there is still a lot of fun to be had in the gloriously realised play-ground they have created.
