Something tells us that Spider-Man is going to make Marvel and Sony and everyone else involved an awful lot of money, so of course you'll have the option of doubling down on a collector's edition of the game. Swinging in at $149.99, the unimaginatively named Collector's Edition will contain a steelbook, a mini artbook, and a "surprise" Spidey statue that won't be fully revealed until summer. Okay then.
A few digital items are thrown in, too, but they're also available via the Digital Deluxe Edition, which is obviously exclusive to the PlayStation Store. However, there's a slight twist here in that those who pre-order digitally will nab a limited edition collector's pin, which will be sent to you by mail. That's only in the United States and Canada, though.

This (and maybe God of War) may be the only special edition PS4 games I get. I generally have an intolerance of plastic statues, no matter how nicely sculpted and detailed they may be.

I was a bit disappointed with the box art, I guess I was expecting a more action heavy one but whatever, it won't matter one bit when release comes.
While I won't be picking up that physical edition myself, I truly appreciate that it includes the season pass. So many collector's editions don't, which is a ripoff! Thanks for keeping it classy Insomniac.
Digital Deluxe is $80US (poor Canadians) which I suppose means the season pass will be $20, which is nice as the price of some of those have been skyrocketing of late. I wonder if the 3 packs will be sold for $8 or $10 each or just 1 all-or-nothing pass? I like it better when a season pass gives you a discount over buying things individually rather than a 1 price take it or leave it on everything.

Haven't there been CEs that offered the same amount, but cheaper? I may get it if possible, but this does seem pricey.

The game sure is interesting, but if I'm too busy with other games, when the game releases, I might wait a bit buying it
Not paying for a statue but if they did a 'steelbook' edition without that and the season pass, I may upgrade my pre-order....
I bought the collector's edition of Arkham City, now I really want this as well, these statues are awesome.

It's interesting that the digital version comes with a physical pre-order bonus. Plus, I'm hoping that one of the costumes is the classic Spidey one.
Steel book looks great
While the mini-artbook is disappointing, it's really the statue that perked my ears up. The first PS4 CE I'll pick up in a long time.

Infamous Second Son came with a decent hat that I still use, some buttons that are still on stuff, a bottle opener and 'game jacket' that I also still use to stash my e-reader in. I think the only 'tat' bit of the whole lot was a coin.
I'll be passing on the Collector's Edition, waiting for the base game or inevitable GOTY/Complete Edition with all 3 DLCs to price drop to $25-$30 New or cheaper.
