Fortnite Hidden Gnome Locations, Map, and How to Find Them 1

Tracking down Hidden Gnomes is one of the week seven challenges from season three in Fortnite Battle Royale, and it's actually a lot less tricky than it first appears.

You see, you can only find the Hidden Gnomes at each of the 18 different named locations on the map. So getting to the right location isn't the tricky part, it's knowing what to do when you get there.

But that's what we're here for, to help you make sense of the various weekly challenges in Fortnite. Let's dig into where the Hidden Gnomes are located, and how to find them once you're in the right spot.

Where are the Hidden Gnomes in Fortnite?

There's a Hidden Gnome in each of the 18 different named locations in Fortnite, and finding them is easier than you think. Before we get to that though, here's the most pointless map ever to help you narrow down where to search.

How do I find the Hidden Gnomes at each of the named locations in Fortnite?

Once you get to a named location, you need to start building brick walls. Why? Because gnomes will randomly appear in brick walls you build while this challenge is active.

As you might have guessed, you're going to need a lot of brick and plenty of space to build to get this done. We recommend starting at either Fatal Farms or Salty Springs, as both of those locations have plenty of brick in the area.

You can then make your way to nearby named locations and use any surplus brick to build walls there to try and find any pesky gnomes. It might also be a good idea to bring a friend or three along for the ride, to get it done a little faster.

Once you've found a gnome, you have to interact with them by holding square until they disappear. As you might have guessed already, you can steal a hidden gnome off an enemy by killing them before they interact with it. Go nuts.

Do I have to complete the Hidden Gnomes challenge in a single match of Fortnite?

Nope! You can take your sweet time with this one and do it over multiple matches if you want. The only thing you have to bear in mind is that you do have to complete a match for any hidden gnomes you've found to register. You can't just quit once you've found a couple, so just go out and get shot or something.
