Rumours regarding the complete roster of additional Dragon Ball FighterZ characters have been swirling for months now, but it's looking like the title's latest patch all but confirms which characters will be added. YouTube user Mizumi found files that suggest previous leaks were indeed correct, with Fused Zamasu, Vegito Blue, base form Goku, base form Vegeta, Android 17, and Cooler all seemingly mentioned through code.
Add these six characters to the already released Broly and Bardock, and you've supposedly got all eight downloadable fighters. We imagine the next two characters will be officially revealed in the near future, so we'll soon know for sure whether this is the real deal.

i would rather have some DB Super characters than Cooler honestly like Jiren or Kefla
I really love this game, but these picks are kind of... meh. There are too many cool DBZ characters to justify more Gokus and more Vegetas. Roshi, Videl, Chi Chi, Yajirobe, Babidi, Jiren, Toppo, Kefla, or Bergamo. I'd also love if Arale showed up. Anyway, I just hope there's a second wave.
@FullbringIchigo Same. I actually would've liked Kefla over Broly, but that's just me.
Also, we really didn't need base Goku and Vegeta. Oh man, people are gonna lose their minds when those two are officially announced. You'll hear the yells of clone from every mountain top.

@gamerphil07 @Deadlyblack Totally agree that more Goku/Vegeta is a crime since Dragon Ball has sooooo many interesting characters, but at the same time I do trust Arc System Works to make them fun to play.
Like, Goku could have kaioken and spirit bomb, maybe Vegeta could turn into a great ape? There's still potential there, even if, again, I totally agree that it seems like a waste.
@ShogunRok 100% in agreement here. Not gonna lie, I got into Dragon Ball when this game was rumoured cause I love ArcSys fighters so much. I'll play all of the characters, I just hope they'll give some other favourites a shot, considering they made someone like Yamcha a beast in this game.
Yes please, 8 more Goku and 8 more Vegeta would be great
@ShogunRok If base Goku utilizes Kaioken, I'll be happy camper since it's one of my favorite techniques.
But it's still not going to stop people from gathering pitch forks and torches, even if Arc System does a remarkable job with the characters.
Oh well. They're better than Saibamen being playable or the generic Frieza Soldier A B C D E F G etc.
Welp. Can't wait for the final dlc to have Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegeta (and prob Gogeta). That way we have even MORE clones.
This is ridiculous. Dragon Ball has such an incredible cast of characters and this is what they come up with... .

Can't say I'm a fan. These picks just seem meh. Cooler I don't mind too much, but the rest seem like a mix of safe or dull. Zamasu is at least another Super character, probably could have picked a better one though. 17 is already 18's assist character, Vegito, while cool is kinda safe and base characters are samey and dull. They could all be fun to play, but right now it seems weak on the surface. Especially since Dragon Ball is rich with interesting or cool looking fighters.
Maybe we'll get something else. Fighting devs do love a good troll after all.
I would've been happier with Gogeta to be honest. His moves would look sooooooo sick with that engine...
@Deadlyblack Still dissapointing i can understand why people feel its a waste. Super had so many great characters so i think they could have done better. 😉
Why these characters?? they have awesome characters like Jiren, God of Destruction Toppo, Bulma, Kefla, whis, etc...
