April 2018’s roster of free PlayStation Plus games are available to download now in Europe, with North America set to follow shortly. The free games, in case you missed the announcement, include Mad Max and TrackMania: Turbo on the PlayStation 4. One extra bonus is that PlayStation 3 freebie In Space We Brawl appears to be cross-buy, so you’ll be able to play that on Sony’s new-gen system, too.
Other free games this time include PS3 racer Toy Home, cross-buy brawler 99Vidas, and old-school arcade revival Q*Bert Rebooted. What will you be downloading first this month? Let us know in the comments section below.

Sammy, do you know if 99 Vidas works on PS3/4 or only if you have a Vita?
@sinalefa It's cross but which means you just download it from the store. The PS4 and PS3 version are there for free as well.

I think Toy Home was the the very first thing I played on my PS3 as it had a demo available. That and Calling All Cars. Not the best of starts...
I might play Mad Max, but I haven't played any of the PS Plus games for like the last two years or something, so it's about 250th on my backlog list.
I can't really see myself playing Mad Max, unfortunately. Ratchet and Clank was tempting, but it frequently costs $20 or less to purchase.
Maybe the next two months will be more tempting on the PS+ front.
