After being drowned in review scores of 9s and 10s on PC, Divinity: Original Sin II has been confirmed for a console release later this year. The rather large role-playing title will launch for PlayStation 4 in August, and it's being published by Bandai Namco.
A sequel to an already great game in Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition, this second instalment will once again feature both split-screen and online co-op, the latter allowing for up to four players. Apparently, additional updates and features will be revealed as we draw closer to launch, so keep an eye out.
Are you a fan of Divinity? Will you snapping this sequel up on day one? Plan out your actions in the comments section below.

My girlfriend is going to go bee-ay-en-ay-en-ay-ess when I tell her this news. We played the first one through together from start to finish and absolutely loved it. Totally excited.
Well I loved the first on PS4. I was gagging for a isometric western RPG at that point though, since it had been so many years since I played one (NWN on PC).
So I'm not champing at the bit for the sequel if I'm honest but maybe by the time it drops I'll be hyped. If not, I'll just get it anyway!
Great news. My girlfriend is currently playing it on PC, and I've been looking over enviously for weeks. Can't wait to play this. Mind you, it's going to be a hell of a race to get this finished before Dragon Quest XI and Spider-Man come out. Ay-ay-ay.
Have fun everyone, it was a great co op experience on PC. Quite a few bugs though, hopefully they get squashed before release.
Wife is currently playing it on PC (having finished the first on PS4), and is now excited to replay it on the Playstation.
My wife is not currently playing this on PC and I doubt that she will care about this but I am looking forward to playing it on my PS4.
Yeah what's with everyones significant female others and this game? Maybe singles should be waving copies of it about in nightclubs?
But, but only PS4 loses exclusives. /s
Anyway, I still need to play the first game, I still not sure if I will like the style.
Now to get round to the first one lol. With the possibility of Pillars of Eternity 2 coming to PS4 as well I have a lot of RPG'ing to do in my future.
Cool word up son
Lucky u guys who found a gamer significant other , my girlfriend starts complaining the minute she hears that PlayStation 4 beep lol.. Anyway i was hoping this would come to ps4 but dam so many games n so little time
@Brasilkilla take her to a hypnotist for conditioning. I've trained my girlfriend to pop the kettle on when she hears that beautiful beep.
@kyleforrester87 +10 hero points for saying "champing".
Yeah, this is proper weird. Like everyone's girlfriend/wife is psyched about this game.
great news the first one was brilliant on PS4 still playing it
I haven't got a wife but I've got a dog and I'm sure he'll probably maybe watch me play this. I loved the first game.
@johncalmc @kyleforrester87 Everyone knows that the way to a woman's heart is through a text-heavy RPG featuring deep strategic combat and lizard men.
I can appreciate this genre still existing, but I played my fill of cRPGs in the past, when they weren't 'classic'. I can't bring myself to return to them. It's always nice to see a great port from PC though, which is rare, it shows respect for the platform.
Isn't this a trailer of the PC version ?
This just made my day I loved the first one and was hoping the sequel would be announced for ps4. I’ll def be there day one and with pillars of eternity 2 all but being confirmed for this holiday I’m set for my crpg goodness
I was excited about this until I heard everyone’s girlfriend or wife plays it. Is it like The Sims meets Candy Crush or something?
First kind of these games I felt in love with is Baldurs Gate ♥️
these games work soo much better on m+k i think, but ill probably still buy it at release -_-
