Easter PlayStation WAYP Sony 1

Whether you celebrate it or not, we hope that you have lots of chocolate in store for this long Easter weekend. Here at Push Square Towers, we’ll be scoffing liberal amounts of Hot Cross Buns and sipping sweet tea. But what will we be playing? Here’s your weekly WAYP.

I’m having a blast with MLB The Show 18, so I’ll be continuing to collect cards in the hopes of creating the ultimate Diamond Dynasty team.

It's taken a whole week but I'm finally close to finishing off most of the optional stuff in Ni no Kuni II. Once that's done, it's back to Monster Hunter: World – a game that I've been starved of over the last month or so due to review duty. I can't wait to dive back in and get grinding all over again.

Stephen Tailby, Senior Staff Writer

I won’t have a huge amount of time for gaming this weekend, so the fact I’m reviewing Minit works out quite well. A game played 60 seconds at a time fits nicely into my relatively busy Easter weekend. Expect a review early next week.

I’m powering my way through Far Cry 5 this weekend and it has me well and truly hooked. A Way Out still remains on my to-play list for the time being, but I’m having way too much fun with Far Cry 5 I can’t see myself dabbling with anything else just yet. Does anyone else have a tendency to rush through side missions? It's something I want to abate!

Some Rainbow Six. Some Warframe. Maybe even some VR. I've been stockpiling a bunch of VR stuff and WipEout might be the thing that pushes me over the edge. And I've got to fit seeing Ready Player One around all that too. Sure I didn't like the book, but I need to know about the movie.

It’s mostly Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom for me over this extended weekend as I attempt to effectively build Evan’s utopian kingdom. I’m thinking he’s a little Alexander the Great in chibi form. I also wantonly purchased Star Wars Battlefront II in the EA sale, convinced that it may somehow be a decent game now the balance-breaking micro-transactions have been removed. We’ll see.

With the holiday upon us that means family time. So this holiday weekend the family and I will be playing some Mutant Football League and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, while we are on a sugar high.

What will you be cracking on with this weekend? Are you planning to eat any Easter Eggs over the course of it? Hop into the comments section below.
