Only one brand new character has been announced for SoulCalibur VI so far, and that's Groh. The stylish swordsman apparently hails from Norway, and we get to learn more about him in this latest video with producer Okubo.
The development team went all out with style when it came to creating Groh, from his cool clothing to his deadly looking double saber weapon. According to Okubo, Groh is a very important character in the upcoming release. We assume he'll play some sort of significant role in the game's story.

Man, I really need to get into fighting games again. It's been a long time.
Looks outta place, design-wise (just a general anachronistic look), but seems soooo cool, gameplay-wise.
@Kidfried I need to get back in too. My problem is, I've been out for so long that it takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R to "git gud" at a fighting game (especially with my lack of free time). By the time I feel competent enough to go online or fight against friends...everyone's moved on!
I think this game looks good as do the characters so far. I am interested despite not being into fighters either. Just hope there is some form of decent story mode. Iām not expecting a Tolkien or Jane Austen level story or anything, just something compelling enough to propel through the single player experience. Otherwise, Iām out.
@Th3solution Arcade Mode is the minimum. š
