In case you missed the news, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age finally has a release date here in the West. But Square Enix isn't just sailing the game overseas -- it's also adding several enhancements to the localised version.

For starters, the game will feature English voiceovers. In Japan, the title has little to no voice acting -- everything's just told via text boxes. Hopefully we get some typically fantastic British accents.

Next up, the Western release will boast a hard difficulty mode dubbed 'Draconian Quest', which will supposedly provide a steeper challenge for more experienced players. On top of that, the user interface is being overhauled so that everything flows better. Square Enix is even improving camera and character movement so that it's more responsive.

Last but certainly not least, there's going to be an added photo mode that'll let you take pictures as you go about your adventure. Sounds great.

Give the localised opening movie a watch and then let us know if you're hyped for Dragon Quest XI in the comments section below.
