Yes! It's finally happened. Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom has gone gold, meaning that development has ended and the game's ready to be shipped ahead of its 23rd March release date. This also means that we're not going to be hit with another delay. Hurrah!
The Level-5 role-playing title was originally set to launch in 2017, but it was soon pushed back into January 2018. The project was then delayed again, this time into March. Thankfully, that last date managed to stick, and we'll finally have our grubby hands on this gorgeous adventure next month.

Yay! Not long to go now.
Phew.
Yayayaya, can't wait to play this on March 22 at 11pm when i play. i hope DLC story expansion allow us to play as Roland
Ordered! Possibly my most anticipated game of the year
@porhawj2016 You can already play as Roland in the game — you can switch between characters anytime you like. Unless you mean Roland as the main character of the story. (Just thought it was worth pointing out in case.)
@ShogunRok yeah but Evan is main character and Roland support him.. Evan look funny and weird with cat's ears and long blonde hair. i wish Devs get rid of cat's ears and short blonde hair on Evan that look better
Oh yeah playa.best looking game ever.this game will be legendary .l💛ve ni no kuni.😁.word up son
Whey! I put my preorder in yesterday.
Any idea about a review embargo? What're the chances of you guys being blessed with a review copy?
@kyleforrester87 maybe one day early before launch day. my guess is it getting around 87 on Metacritic
Gamespot : 9
IGN : 9.2
Game informer : 9.3
Playstation lifestyle : 9.0
Push Square : 9
One of the few games I may get at launch, or close to launch.
Yay! I pre-ordered the special edition ages ago. Can't wait.
@mookysam you mean 79.99 or ?
@kyleforrester87 Very likely that we'll be reviewing this one.
i feel sorry for Xbox gamers gonna be angry about this game is not coming to xbox one if they don't have strong PC to play this and hate playstation system too
Hell yessss mannn im excited for this game
Im super excited about this game but early previews have made me pause in a way i didnt for the first. I am concerned about the rts and kingdom building stuff and thats making me feel like i should hold out for your review
I do trust in level 5 though, so im sure they have built another magical adventure
Good month for this launch since the best games (God of War and Yakuza 6) come out in April
I missed out on the first one, but I'm certainly going to play this one. Love the art style and from the gameplay I've seen it's the typical RPG stuff I like.
Really looking forward to this, loved the 1st one. Delays are always disappointing but new release date was good timing for me due to the 'gaming must have' back-up last year as opposed to so far this year and in the next few months.
The first one is one of the best games I've ever played, so I'll be all over it when I have time to play it.
@AFCC wondering what games coming out in May : Detroit Become Human ? i think June gonna be good month if Days Gone release in June
Decided to finish off Digimon then FINALLY start the original this weekend. Wonder if I can finish it in time...
Great news, maybe not for friends and family as no one will see me for a month!
I am really excited to play this game, but I still cannot help but feel disappointed that they didn't re-release Nino Kuni on PS4 before hand.
Still, Nino Kuni 2 looks immense and I have it pre ordered, can any character in this sequel trump my fellow countryman Drippy, is the big question 😁
As much as I want it day one I might have to wait. I'm very much still invested in Monster Hunter and Far Cry 5 and God of War are right around the corner.
Too many games and not enough time/money to go around.
@porhawj2016 Maybe we can rest our wallets in May lol
With all the gameplay footage they've shown, I thought it was going to say it's gone gold so now here's the first 15 hours of gameplay. 😏😂
I need to finish the first one.
I'm going to wait, as preview footage hasn't been encouraging. If it's good, I'll definitely be picking it up down the line, though.
I’ve just become accustomed to the only announcements being about a delay that I’m conditioned to not even know how to respond to this. I feel strangely disappointed that the news isn’t something being delayed again
Great! I look forward to playing it next year probably .
I've still got a big PS4 backlog and haven't even beaten the first game yet.
This hasn't been on my radar at all, is it an Action RPG like Zelda/Xenoblade or more of a turn based RPG like the Final Fantasy of old? I'm interested but don't know an awful lot about it?! May have to do my homework on this one. 🤔
I can't shake the feeling that this game is going to disappoint
@AFCC i has enough money to buy more games every month. i already pre-ordered 5 games now : God of War, Detroit Become Human, Vampry, Ni No Kuni 2 and Farcry 5 but didn't pre-order Days Gone, RDR 2 and Spider-Man yet because those games are not available to pre-order yet
@porhawj2016 I wish!
@AFCC you wish you have alot money to buy games ?
@porhawj2016 most of my money goes to games anyway!
I liked the charm of the first one but despised the horrible BS and plain characters, footage of this isn't exactly encourageling tbh...
