Are there quick time events? Is Atreus going to be annoying? How many times has God of War Creative Director Cory Barlog been called Cory Balrog? You'll find out the answers to all of these questions and many more in the above video, which comes courtesy of Game Informer.
It's a fun little interview that, while definitely on the silly side, still contains a few little nuggets of information worth highlighting. You'll find out whether Atreus knows why Kratos' skin is so pale, whether the game contains side quests, and how much time you'll be spending on a boat.
More concrete information should be on the way soon as Game Informer continues its coverage. In the meantime, though, be sure to give the video a watch, and let us know what you think in the comments below.

Pretty cool interview.
I still don't understand the issue about quick time events, they are pretty cool in God of War games if you ask me. Maybe people just like to complain, who knows.
@PS_Nation I've never had a problem with a sprinkling of QTEs in my action adventure games. Don't see what gets people's backs up. It's not like the game is built around them, after all. Like, say, Fahrenheit.
Although, Fahrenheit was the nuts too.
Still on the fence - but more on the positive side!
No 5hit combo metres!!!
25-30% on a boat seems a lot. For a 25-30hr game, that could around 7-9hrs...
I am not a fan of QTE's at all but I can tolerate minimal usage if the game is good enough and not overly reliant on these. I wouldn't say I would never buy a game with them but some are pathetic and much prefer games to avoid these - especially in combat. Its scripted sequences to finish off an enemy really seems unnecessary and bring nothing. Other QTE's are just memory 'Simple Simon' sequences if you miss the window and I don't like the 'icons' up on the screen either.
@PS_Nation yep.God of war.has the best qte.can't wait for this masterpiece word up son
@BAMozzy GOW 3 disagrees i saw a lot of epic murders there. 😉
I love those 2 guys a really cool interesting interview. 😃
@BAMozzy I think that was a joke.
I watched this yesterday and it made me giggle.
@BAMozzy totally agree. If it turns out a lot of time is on a boat that will get boring. Fast. It was super irritating in assassins creed black flag, in a game covered in islands , it took ages to get anywhere. It was what initially put alot of people off LoZ, Wind Waker back on gamecube too. Hope Cory was joking.
O and i have always read his name as Cory Balrog haha
"Finish the game, Cory"
@Rob_230 It was the art style that initially put people of, though. Still to this day it remains my favourite Zelda game
@PS_Nation QTEs have been done well, especially in the first GOW. When it was refreshing and used sparingly. Over the years they infested every game. Funnily I dont enjoy the Arkham games as the fighting reminds me of QTEs but on a more dynamic scale. The light that flashes over Batmans head so you can counter. Its just a drawn out qte. Yet loads of the same people raved about that. You cant win.
@Kidfried @Rob_230 Yeah the cel shaded comic look really got peoples backs up. I thought it was tremendous! Bravo! The boat was fun for ten minutes at most though.
@get2sammyb Heads up that there are four GoW Funko Pop figures from the new game available on Amazon US
Draugr
Firetroll
Atreus
Kratos with axe
I'm not sure if it is worth an article, but they are due out on April 1 which may give us a clue to the release date.
