Remasters are in vogue again, so Ubisoft’s opted to port Shay Patrick Cormac’s maiden voyage to the PlayStation 4 this coming 20th March. As the name suggests, Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered will revive the 2014 open world adventure for Sony’s new-gen system, offering improvements such as “higher resolution, improved environment rendering, visual effects and textures”. It’ll all be presented in 4K on the PS4 Pro, or a crystal clear 1080p if you own the base console.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue is best known for telling its tale from the perspective of the Templars, but it was overlooked at launch as it released on the PlayStation 3 when the PS4 was already at full-mast. We liked it, though, awarding it a 7/10 in our review and concluding: “It feels like a really expansive piece of DLC that’s loaded with things to look at and places to go while acting as a solid continuation of a successful story."
