Call of Duty: WWII is your Christmas number one on the UK sales charts. Surprise! Activision’s franchise has topped the British best sellers list four festive seasons in a row now, although last year’s Infinite Warfare did rely on a £12.99 price drop in order to keep the record alive. The same hasn’t proven true with Sledgehammer’s historical shooter, which is big, big, big business right now.
Elsewhere, as we alluded last week, normal order has been assumed. FIFA 18 is in second, with Star Wars Battlefront II just behind in third. And then you’ve got the likes of Assassin’s Creed Origins, Grand Theft Auto V, and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy rounding out the top ten. Okami HD debuted all the way down in 37th position, just a place ahead of Hidden Agenda.

@Savino People buying a new PS4/Xbox One.
@Savino Chavs mainly.
Okami HD at 37th?!
Thought it would've done better than that given it was available for as little as £13.
@JoeBlogs I think it's more about timing than anything else. It's very hard for anything not 'mainstream' to catch on during the holidays. Guarantee Okami would've done far better with a Q1 release as is the case with SOTC.
WipEout got its first ever UK number 1 last summer.
@JoeBlogs Probably worse than the much anticipated The Last Guardian. Internet hype =/= sales, it seems
Two 3D platformers on the charts, that's the best thing about it.
Okami is really amazing, but the game never had great sales since PS2, sadly.
