We've got another quiet Japanese sales charts report on our hands here, but at least Sony's current-gen console is still doing reasonably well for itself. PlayStation 4 sales actually increased, with the base model jumping to around 25,000 units, while the Pro crept up to 8000 units. This was despite a lack of new software.
Speaking of which, only one PS4 title entered the top ten, and that was the latest Nobunaga's Ambition release, which shifted about 27,000 copies. Over the next few weeks, it'll be interesting to see how heavily the holidays impact sales across the board.

Apparently Switch is running low on supply again in Japan at least so I wonder if PS4 for a week will take a Jump over Switch maybe for multiple weeks... Ik there’s prob obviously always supply in Japan in terms of PS4...
I wish this site would stop running Xbox X Ads...it's messing with my mind.
Why doesn't Sony run Ads about Pro & PSVR here?
@Derpie1 from what I gather Switch has been low supply every week in Japan, always hearing how quickly it sells out, still holding raffles to just buy one etc. Mentioned a few times how steady the performance of PS4 is in Japan which is impressive in it's own right in light of Switch. Will be interesting to see the coming weeks numbers.
@GamerDad66
Got to see the irony of Microsoft funding a PlayStation site. I know I’m not persuaded by advertising.
@toffeecrit well I follow someone who lives in Tokyo and he can’t find a Switch literally anywhere... ofc he has 2 already (1 for his daughter) but he def gets annoyed that well it’s so difficult to get the Switch or those Classic Consoles Which you also have to jump on the raffles for
new metro exodus gameplay tomorrow at vga word up son
@playstation1995 speculation?

@Derpie1 pretty insane really that's still the case, makes you wonder how many they could shift every week and if anyone is giving up and getting something else.
@Kidfried ah thanks dood
@Derpie1 Geoff say that couple hours ago .a new metro exodus gameplay tomorrow at the vga word up son
@Kidfried word up son.can't wait.
Nice to see good number for the ps vita. Hopefully my christmas vita game (chaos;child) arrive in time
Decent sales for Xenoblade 2. Not amazing, but it's selling more at launch than previous games in the series, and to a much smaller install base.
PS4 is hanging in there. It'll probably see a surge during the holidays (especially if Switch is still hard to obtain there) and when MH World releases next year.
Switch is destroying it in Japan. One thing that does do is evidence Sonys rollout of PS4 in the West first as the correct thing to do.
Im glad Nintendo is doing well and absolutely cant wait for my son to grab ARMS this chrimbo. Way better family fun than charades or the queens speech.
