Assassin’s Creed Rogue, the PlayStation 3 stealth spin-off that launched long after the PlayStation 4, always seemed like a lock for the remaster treatment in 2015 – but over two years later we weren’t expecting it at all. Now, after a bunch of Italian retailers leaked it, the title has been rated for release on Sony’s new-gen system in Korea – all but confirming the port's existence.
The original rumour pointed to a 15th March launch, which seems reasonable to us. Rogue was well-liked by series fans for telling the “other side” of the Assassin’s Creed tale, as protagonist Shay Patrick Cormac turned to the Templars in what was described by Ubisoft at the time as the “darkest chapter” in the series yet. Would you be willing to revisit this – especially after the excellent Origins?
