How is it Christmas already? It only feels like yesterday yours truly was attempting to play The Last Guardian through severely hampered vision – it’s a long story. Anyway, the 12 Deals of Christmas are back on the European PlayStation Store – an annual rollercoaster where fans wait in hope of great deals that never really tend to arrive.
While there’ll almost certainly be a gigantic Xmas sale over the festive period, Sony tends to use this secondary promotion as a kind of money spinning Advent Calendar – like Zoella but with less £50 notebooks. The first of the deals is Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which is now down to £21.99 – a few quid cheaper than you’ll currently find it on Amazon.
The deals will rotate every 48 hours in the run-up to Santa Claus getting stuck in your chimney, and we’ll try to notify you of any new offers right here on Push Square. Casual reminder: it’s not December yet.

What's a zoella and why do they think anyone should pay 50 quid for a notebook?
The obvious inclusions in the 12 days promotion this year would seem to be uncharted: tll, gt sport, wipeout (possibly) and H:ZD (plus a discount on the dlc). Expect Cod or destiny 2 from acti and battlefront 2 to also show up. Don't really like this promotion, but really looking forward to the annual xmas sale. It usually has great offers
"like Zoella but with less £50 notebooks"
The word is 'fewer', by the way.
@Johnnycide I think it's something to do with the YouTubes (and, to answer your follow-up, from what I understand, YouTubes is like Bozo and MyFace only with moving pictures).
I love this site for the tone and style of writing on display, even in small updates or news items where others would just copy and paste a press release... naming no names, of course... 'tis the season (apparently).
I'd also expect to see WipEout and Uncharted in the calendar somewhere, and that's a strong start with Crash, given he was one of this year's runaway success stories for PS4.
I really don't get this promotion. OK I want Crash but in two days or in four days they may discount a game I want more and so on and I end up buying nothing. Moreover last year many of the 12 deal games were discount again on the holiday sale and one or two games had an even greater discount.
@belmont At least you guys get Christmas deals...usually here in NA there aren't any good sales between the Black Friday one and the one at New Year's...
