Fancy giving The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited a shot for free on PlayStation 4? The MMO is free to download and play on Sony's system starting tomorrow, the 30th November. The free period will last until the 6th December, so you've got a decent amount of time to try it out. However, you'll need to be an active PlayStation Plus subscriber to take part.
We reckon The Elder Scrolls Online's well worth a look if you want a big role-playing title to sink you teeth into, but it's worth mentioning that it makes for one huge download. Last time we checked, the main game, along with all of its updates, clocks in at around 100GB. Better get downloading sooner rather than later.

I thought that was horizon with one of those giraffe dischead dinosaur things from the picture.
Unfortunately its not. Move on.
@themcnoisy lol. Same here. I came here to say the exact same thing.
@ShogunRok I saw somewhere that Destiny 2 is also free for a week.
The content to price ratio for this game is amazing.
@Tasuki Yeah there's a free trial for Destiny 2 as well. I don't think it's for a limited time, though: https://www.pushsquare.com/news/2017/11/starting_tomorrow_you_can_try_destiny_2_for_free_on_ps4
I remember a free week like that. I tuned in, spent a while creating the character, saved in the first room... and then got busy enough to miss out on the rest of the week. Still bought the game later after learning that it has no monthly fee, even though it's yet another unfortunate case of "attacks on rear touchpad and remapping controls is SO last century in console games" RP experience. Still no regrets - the amount of content in this game is astounding and ironically enough for my binge play whims, TES Online is at least the very earliest in the in-universe timeline, set even way before the events of Arena.
Tempting but 100gb is too much for me, still got the original 500gb hdd.
I tried this game, but I've just kinda come to the conclusion that MMOs aren't really for me. It's the best MMO I've ever played, though. Granted, I haven't played many, but I still think it's well worth a look for fans of the genre.
100GB? I need like 10 days to download it but the initiative is good to give Plus more value.
@LieutenantFatman you need to upgrade man. 500gb is way low these days.
Yeah, free sounds good until you see the download size. Knowing my history with mmo’s, I’ll probably give this one a pass.
I have 2 TB of space so I can handle the memory hit, but it’s just my guess is I’ll spend less time actually playing it than it takes to download it. But I might try it. I’ve got a friend who plays it all the time.
@LieutenantFatman I've the same problem man. Need to get me a new hdd.
@LieutenantFatman Thanks. Was gonna give this a try until I saw your 100GB comment. I'm still using a 500GB PS4 as well.
@themcnoisy I blame Sony for that. Why release a 500GB console in the first place when there are so many good games and triple A games tend be around 50GB and that's not taking into account patches.
You couldn't pay me to suffer through this game again...
Why offer something for free that's over 100gb in size?? That would take me 3 days maybe 4 to even get it downloaded on my net speed. If they maybe let you download it first then the trial starts a week later then yeah but no thanks I'll stick with my DIABLO 3 on PC
