As promised, the European PlayStation Store has gone live with its round of Black Friday 2017 savings, with early access available for PlayStation Plus members starting now. Don’t worry if you’re not currently subscribed – although annual memberships are discounted right now – as you’ll be able to join the fun from midnight on 23rd November. You’ll also find all of the Best UK PS4 Black Friday 2017 Deals at retail through the link.
So what have we got, then? Well, on the surface this doesn’t look like a particularly amazing sale, but dig a little deeper and you will find some great prices. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy at £14.99, for example, is about a fiver cheaper than you’ll find it at retail – and Gran Turismo Sport is looking very cheap at £24.99, too. Even FIFA 18 at £35.99 represents roughly a tenner off what you’ll find it in the shops.
Other deals include The Evil Within 2 for £24.99, and the same for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is just £11.99, while Knack 2 is approaching impulse territory at £14.99. You absolutely must buy Bloodborne at £11.99 if you haven’t already, and Friday the 13th: The Game is half-price at £15.49. There are also several PlayStation VR titles on sale, including must-own Battlezone for £10.49.
It’s not the sprawling sale covering the entirety of PS4’s back catalogue that many of us had expected, but in hindsight, we suspect that will be saved for Christmas. Instead, this spans mostly new releases – and many of them are available cheaper than what you’ll find in the shops. You can peruse the full list of discounts for your European territory through here, but do check back and let us know what you’re buying.

Why anyone buys games on the run up to black Friday these days is beyond me. You can pickup 2 games today for the price of 1 last week.
Meh
@themcnoisy Yeah, the speed at which some games go on sale is insane really.
@themcnoisy @get2sammyb I bought a copy of Doom for 8, what a scab I am.
Side note not in the sale but on sale still Pillars of eternity 26.99, cheaper than retail so not too bad
Dragon's Dogma for £11 BUY IT
@Cpt_Price Hmm. I would assume so yes, but not 100% sure. The way it’s all worded makes it sound like PS Plus merely gets early access, though, so yeah I guess the sales are the same.
@ShogunRok no.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi I bought I am mayo for 99p. Im a worse scab.
Wow,as if I haven't got enough games already..and birthday tommorow too with already being given a £30 psn voucher...Knack 2,Lost Legacy and Battle zone vr already tempting me...
@themcnoisy I feel so much better now,I bought I Am Mayo last week..the only Platinum I earned that I feel ashamed of rather than proud lol
@ShogunRok Thanks for the tip! Browsed the sales once and somehow must have missed it.
I picked up PlayStationVR Worlds (£12.50) and Dragon's Dogma (£12).
Some fantastic deals on there like Uncharted The Lost Legacy for £15 and loads of new releases with 35%+ off.
I feels sorry for the guy that bought NFS Payback at launch. Not just because they bought a supposedly bad game, but also because they could've saved £24.
Hope more games are added to the sale. Could do with some indies and vita games.
Even on sale, why is Tales of Berseria so expensive!
Man oh man, such quick drops in price. I am struggling to finish games at the moment so decided to hold off unless I see something that really takes my fancy.
Oh man.... Gran Turismo at £25 is making my digital wallet tremble
@themcnoisy So did I. And I felt awful playing every second up to the platinum and began to question my life choices. Awful game.
Its a good sale. Poor selection for vita and ps3, but some really decent savings on ps4. Im quite surprised at how big some of the discounts are on new releases. Which again must raise the question for developers ; why release games in the lead up to Christmas these days. Waiting till the spring seems like a better idea for their bottom line, even if you lose some of the Xmas impulse purchases
A reminder to everyone that rather than click all of the links to the playstation store individually on the blog to to find the prices, you can just head to:
https://psprices.com/region-gb/index
And filter by platform or country for the full list in a much easier format
The Evil Within 2 And Wolfenstein 2 are looking very tempting
Gran Turismo is really growing on me and have played it every day since release. To those on the fence, I would really recommend at this price. I'm hoping that this will be my go to racing game for the rest of this gen with the promised updates and additions. The multiplayer is sublime with people actually racing, not just focused on destroying the opposition literally.
I’m definitely going to pick up lost legacy as it the only naughty dog game I’ve not played. There’s a few others tempting me. But may just stick with this as I’m trying not to get a back log. Maybe hold out till 12 days of Christmas for the next big sale
I've been waiting for these deals for what feels like ages! Grand Theft Auto V at 28 euro is cheaper than I've ever seen and Bloodborne GOTY at 18 euro is also the lowest it's ever been!
@Star-Lord Im not doing that. I felt dirty the first time.
It's time to finally pull the trigger on Persona 5. Goodbye life.....
is the us one up?
@Chinese_Stu just what i was thinkin' about :}
Games companies are really shooting themselves in the foot at the moment with reducing the prices so quickly after launch.
@AFCC
After getting my PSVR yesterday was hoping for a few more VR games will pick up Batman and I Expect you to die
Very similar to the Xbox deals. Think I'll pick up Life Is Strange: Before the Storm deluxe. Although I was waiting for a physical release (still am), £14 right now for digital is still good value imo
@roe yeah; im torn atm. I waited for a physical release of the first one and was rewarded (still among my fave games this gen); but the offer is certainly enticing. I might have to fold and pick it up...wouldnt be surprised to see another l.e with the soundtrack included for this.
@Rob_230 @roe I can confirm at the very least that the first two episodes have been lovely.
Bethesda strike again with £25 for their latest releases...
Quite a few GOTY candidates here. I should probably buy one of them, but then there is Knack 2.
Is the roster supposed to grow later like the US one was seemingly claimed to?Not investing in PS4-only stuff for now, but I waa curious about Vita offerings. Doesn't look like many impulse buys so far (ZTD is on my wishlist but not before I play the first two games - which are apparently landing in Europe in the Nonary Games bundle at long last). I MIGHT consider GoW collection and even recovering the once lost Killzone Mercenary, but I'll wait and see what else might pop up - and what I would afford in case eShop sale gives me something to salivate over in the meatime.
Uncharted Lost Legacy is tempting if I can find room on my stuffed hard drive. I'll be definitely buying Dishonored's Death Of The Outsider from the other sale because I've just finished The Knife Of Dunwall, which was brilliant, and playing through The Brigmore Witches at the mo. Man, I love this series, I hope Arkane plan on doing a third game.
@ShogunRok Ahah! Just joking, in fact I had that game for PS3 and that's why I won't buy it again
@AFCC Go on... You know you want to. Remember the good times! The crazy pawns! The cheeky goblins!
The ability to throw NPCs off really high cliffs!
Now in 1080p!
@ShogunRok Oh sh**...I don't know if I can resist throwing NPCs off cliffs..............................................damn you
Wolfenstein 2 was accidentally for free for a little while on the EU PSN so my mates and I managed to snag that before the regular price was back up. Best black Friday deal 😂
