We don't know about you, but we love a good overview trailer here at Push Square. They're usually a great place to start when it comes to catching up on what a game's all about, so if you've been ignoring Dissidia Final Fantasy NT up to this point, then you'll definitely want to give this one a watch.
The video goes over the basics of the game as well as what you can expect from its combat system. Informative stuff.
NT is due out for PlayStation 4 on the 30th January, 2018. Let's hope it's good enough to stand out in what promises to be an absolutely packed couple of months for Sony's current-gen console.

Love it, currently this is the one game I'm looking forward to on the PS4.
But no storymode less characters a massive step back Im not sure if i will get it.
Having played the beta, I thought it was a little bit too chaotic for me but I might still get it at a later date, though.
@Flaming_Kaiser so what if it doesn't have a story mode, not every fighting game needs one
yeah they are a nice bonus but not really needed
be honest how many times do you do a story mode in a fighter before you stop and just do fights
@FullbringIchigo I see someone did not play the PSP version. Better gameplay a story and more content yeah this is better... Try it on the PSVita.
@Flaming_Kaiser actually i did, way to assume without facts
but this is a fact, this game is a port of an arcade game, to expect a story mode is folly, would it have been nice, sure but it's not needed
@FullbringIchigo For me still a massive dissapointment way less fighters to. I guess If you buy a Square-Enix game means less then it used to i should probably get used to getting half the game when you buy early. So better wait a few months and buy it complete. How did you post the image btw.
@Flaming_Kaiser i dunno why you think the fighter count is low it already has more fighters confirmed than Dissidia or 012 had just look
as for the picture i posted it to my social media and copied the URL
@Flaming_Kaiser this may help
@FullbringIchigo @Flaming_Kaiser @ShogunRok Wait, there's no story mode? I just assumed there would be since the PSP games had one.
My interest for this game has crashed now, might pick it up in a few years during a $10-$15 sale.
@ToddlerNaruto My idea as well.
@FullbringIchigo 7 of those are summons which aren't playable.
@viciousarcanum there are 26 currently, Square have said there will be about 50 all in all, Dissidia 012 had around 30 (some DLC) so we already know it has/will have more than the PSP versions, that isn't a complete list and besides it was just a screen grab from the website
@ToddlerNaruto Totally agreed. May cancel my preorder.
@FullbringIchigo Did you see the rippoff the seasonpass is.
@Flaming_Kaiser i haven't seen any news of a season pass anywhere, i even looked on google and nothing
@Flaming_Kaiser @ToddlerNaruto oh and it DOES have a story mode
@FullbringIchigo I don't count 60 minutes of story cutscenes you unlock while playing as a real story mode.
As for the Season Pass, I found it on my first google search. All I did was google Dissida NT Season Pass.

@ToddlerNaruto doesn't say what characters the season pass has though and that's par for the course for fighting games now a days so i don't see an issue
plus again it's a fighter so you can't expect an huge RPG like story mode especially as this is a port of an arcade game that never had one
all i'm asking is how is the game having a few DLC characters and a cinematic story mode a reason to cancel your order, that's pretty much what all fighting games are like
@FullbringIchigo I never complained about the Season Pass? I was just showing that it could be found.
I know it's just a fighting game and such, but it's not the same thing as a standard fighting game story mode.
There's a difference between how most recent fighting games handle story modes and how Dissidia NT does it.
@ToddlerNaruto yeah i get that it's not as large as some others but at least Square took the time to put one in even though the arcade version didn't have one, most publishers would even bother
@FullbringIchigo Fair enough, to each their own.
@ToddlerNaruto by the way Sony released a video showing one of the story cutscenes, confirming that NT is a sequel to the PSP games

@FullbringIchigo Thanks, I'll watch the video later when I have time.
