Rockstar is teasing something Red Dead Redemption 2 related over on Twitter, and as you'd expect, the gaming sphere has gone nuts. It's been pretty quiet on the Western front since the developer announced that the game's release would be delayed back in May. There were rumours that it would reappear around E3 2017, but it was nowhere to be seen.
As such, we're going to go ahead and guess that a new trailer or something similar is going to be thrown our way next week. "Thursday September 28, 11AM ET" is what this teaser says. Are you hyped? Dust off that old revolver in the comments section below.

The first one was really good, but I think it would have benefited a lot from modern technology. It was almost too ambitious for its own good IMO. It'll be nice to see the second one on a more powerful console than the PS3/360.
one of the best game ever.can't wait
It's the Red Dead Redemption series colors, but does not specifically state that it is the sequel. Could it be the remastered original on PS4? Please please please. After the LA Noire announcement, I am still hopeful that it could happen.,
@Bluetrain7 Yeah it'd be sweet to get a remake of Redemption before Xmas. Would set us up nicely for RDR2 next spring quite nicely!
I'm listening, Rockstar. Watcha got?
Can you smell the hype for the sequel of the best game of the last generation? I sure can
It dont even need to be a remaster.. Just a straight port of RDR for the PS4 & i'll be over the moon. How hard can it be? GTAV was released three times..
Ezcited yes but not too bothered, so many good games right now.
RDR for PS4... remaster, remake, re-whatever-it-takes please !!!
@MattSilverado But it is on PS4 just get PlayStation Now you can stream RDR.
@Derpie1 I don't live in the US and I think the services is not available down here. And I prefer to play local. How does streaming on PsNow works anyway ? is it good ? I don't like compression artifacts ; )
This will be so amazingly good we will all be walking like John Wayne after pooping our trousers.
@Bluetrain7 hoping for both new Trailer & Remaster on PS4!
This will be the 3rd game not the second, the first was red dead revolver on the ps2
@MattSilverado basically with a strong internet connection you can play some PS4, PS3, PS2 and PS1 games I believe but you have to pay a monthly fee tho. It's also on PC as well. Dunno if RDR is on there but PS Now is reason why they WONT make a remaster.
Funnily by the power of backwards compatibility on Xbox One you can play RDR if you have the disc or are willing to rebuy it digitally.
PS4 has no Backwards Compatibility w any Systems via discs
Loved RDR. Not the biggest fan of Rockstars open world games though. What made the last one so good was the great story and fantastic ending.. dunno if they can manage that again.
Day one, though.
@BarFooToo Yeah, yeah. Gold star for you.
@BarFooToo and here we go again...
I'll get excited when they announce RDR2 has gone gold. Until then, I'm going to ignore the teasers and enjoy the large selection of quality games I currently have.
@Bluetrain7 You got a point there, I hope so to
I never got to play Red Dead Redemption on PS3 and I'm surprised it never got a PC version. I heard good things about the game but I don't have a PS3 anymore so the only way for me to play it right now is through the PS Now service which I'm not a fan of, especially because you only get stereo sound no 5.1 or 7.1 - and visually I don't like the look of the game via PS Now, had to force my self to play the game and try to just focus on the gameplay and story.
@Nesstark88 @David187 @MattSilverado @JoeBlogs @FaultyDroid @Dodoo @Bluetrain7 Same here guys, hoping and praying we get the first Red Dead Redemption game fully remastered (not just a straight PS4 port).
The ending of the first one was like a bad Butch Cassidy or Shanghai Noon. If I gotta play as that dumb kid of his I'm not having it.
@JoeBlogs If you have an xbox one, it runs at a stable 30fps there.
