Destiny 2's launch seems to be going reasonably smoothly thus far -- barring some queuing issues -- but the sequel's all-new clan system isn't quite up and running yet. Bungie has said that clan features will be "unavailable for several days after launch", so if you were looking forward to organising a session with fellow clan members through the newly introduced in-game system, you'll have to wait a bit.
Hopefully all goes to plan and Bungie can get everything working sooner rather than later. In the meantime, let us know if you've picked the game up in the comments section below.

I assume this is to reduce server load in the initial rush, or something like that.
If this is the only negative so far then I'd call that a win for the release
Destiny always launches pretty flawlessly. I got on okay this lunch time, those memories at the start are a great touch!!
Can't wait to play more this evening. Expecting a bit of queing as people come home from work though...
I haven't tried it today, but once my timer said I was able to play I tried logging in last night. After a 21 minute queue, I got into the game and enjoyed about 8 minutes of gameplay before the game crashed. Got back in (no queue this time) and it crashed again. Got back in and the system had slowed to about 1 FPS, requiring a system reboot.
Rebooted the Pro, got back in without a queue, played 5 minutes and crashed. Bedtime.
Not sure if it's random, the Pro, or the O.S. Beta, but definitely frustrating.
@lacerz I played 1 hour no crash, no issues. PS4 pro hooked up to 1080p screen.
Still at work waiting for my ltd edition to get delivered lol. Hopefully royal mail haven't sent it back to the depot or I won't be playing it til tomorrow
I got a good few hours in this morning but I somehow doubt it'll be that easy as we head into the evening.

Managed to get into the push square clan last night. Cheers for that looking forward to it going live. I put it on at midnight to check pre download had worked but had to go to bed, I was up early this morning. Just sat here waiting to 'pull the trigger' cos I know once I start I won't play anything else and I need 2 trophies to plat ffxv!
Played for about 3 hours today and all went really well. Can't get into the crucible yet as queue doesn't seem to move, but there is plenty of stuff to be getting on with. Stand out hings so far are graphics and the shooting mechanic, which is better than D1 (am loving those hand cannons). Well done Bungie so far...
@XurAgentofthe9 Yeah, the shooting is top notch. I didn't play the first so I can't compare but it's really polished in D2.
After an absolute shocker of a day in work this best be working when I get in. Gonna blitz the campaign then get into the neat of it.
I just bought Destiny the taken king legendary edition for $20. It's downloading right now. The people at Best Buy were like dude destiny 2 is out ya know....and I do know. It looks like exactly the same game so why pay $40 more for it?
Only gripe I have is can't get into crucible at all stays at 1/8 but so far combat during story is better. Like the idea of different supers and I did like he titan slam where it had multiple instead of giant slam and that's it.

Also my friends have the first Destiny not the the second one so I can play with them.
