Knack 2 has secured a sneaky PlayStation 4 demo ahead of its 5th September release. Already available on the European PlayStation Store – and presumably set to follow on American storefronts when they update later today – the taster takes you through the title’s Monastery level, which is a bit of a tutorial as we understand.
The sequel looks massively improved over its predecessor, so it’s no surprise Sony wants to get the game in front of as many people as possible. I actually quite enjoyed the combat of the first Knack. I'll give this one a whirl along with Danganronpa V3 once i'm done with lost legacy
Wow a demo before release, who does that anymore? I'm not sure if I have an EU account on PS4, had one on PS3 that I never bothered to move over b/c I only used it for demos and wallpaper, but yeah US will probably get it this afternoon or early evening.
I'm still probably holding off on this until it's $20 next spring but I'd like to see for myself this "improvement" sammy's been rambling on about the past few months.

Knack was great it was a great bit of old school fun, can't wait for the sequel.
Plus it's budget price as well.
Loved Knack and don't understand why everyone hated on it at the time.Just got home from work so will definitely be d/l this when I feel a little less knackered
Off topic but Gundam Versus Open Beta is also available in the US Store now.
This reminds me of the good old days of 2 player games on PS1 & PS2 and more so of a time when many games had demos available for you to try and that is how you knew you liked a game but now you have to watch a trailer and take a leap of faith lol gaming magazines would often have a demo disc with a few games to try each month. I think this is something that should never have died, many devs could easily upload demos to the ps store.

Didn't like the dodge being on the right stick, maybe it could be changed but seemed an odd configuration out of the box.
I liked the first one, even got the platinum trophy. So I can't wait for Knack 2. I'm looking forward to the coop-mode with my kids.
Wow. So, did anyone else try the hardest difficulty and get destroyed? Will be a great challenge, although the level shown in the demo probably wasn't the best showcase for the game imo.
Oh he'll yea so much better can't wait to get back into Knack! This definitely looks better visually

@DoublezZ01 Can't say I'm a fan of the franchise but I was looking forward to try out the demo which I did yesterday but it said that service wasn't available, yet. I'm assuming it'll only be playable over the weekend?
