Earlier in the week, Bandai Namco teased a new project headed by Japanese developer Dimps. The teaser trailer showed a dusty, almost post-apocalyptic world. Turns out that it was actually for the next Sword Art Online game, which, to be totally honest, isn't exactly the most exciting outcome.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet will take place in that other MMO that protagonist Kirito and his friends sign up for. You know, the one which trades swords in for guns and lightsabers, and Kirito plays as a female avatar. Or something. Look, we didn't bother watching that series, okay?

Apparently, it's going to be a third-person shooter RPG, and it's due out worldwide in early 2018. Sound good to you? Aim down the barrel in the comments section below.
