Rumour: Okami HD will Paint a Pretty Picture on PS4 Later This Year

Hope it comes to the switch/ps4 i will buy both because its a great game.

I think the graphic style of games like Okami look great on any system so if you already have it there's no need to buy it again. It's a beautiful game on my PS3 as much as it was a beautiful game on my PS2.

For as many times as they have rereleased RE4, Okami deserves it too. I already have the Wii and PS3 version though.

Yes please. Day one. Absolutely love okami. One of the greatest games ever. Would love it if they ported the sequel, okami-den from the ds too!

I remember thinking I was fighting the final boss and being fully satisfied ; only to find I still had like two thirds of the game to go

I still remember playing ps2 okami, I though it's a action game but after defeating the boss again and again and there's still more adventure to play, I just realize I'm playing rpg. It's one of my favorite game on ps2.

@get2sammyb There's still megaman x 1-4, megaman zero series, viewtiful joe, street fighter 2 and 3 for ps4 (it will be really cool if it has the old sprite & true widescreen), street fighter alpha series, devil may cry 1-3, onimusha 1-3 (the one with takeshi kaneshiro, the 10.000 polygon man ), and bionic commando remaster 1.

I want marvel vs capcom 2 too but I don't think that's available.

@BLP_Software i think its possible anything can happen if the switch has alot of units in the wild and capcom did say it will support the switch if the games sell and ultra street fighter 2 sold well.

The game is a masterpiece so it should be available to play easily on current hardware. I thoroughly played the ps3 version though.

Didn't the ps3 release render at 4k then downsampled to 1080p? I'm sure I remember reading that somewhere...

I didnt play this game so its very good news. Watched trailer on YT and looks beautiful.

Fun fact: The PS3 version actually ran at 4K downsampled to 1080p.

I wonder if it will run at 8K downsampled on the Pro.

I played the living hell out of this game last fall on the PS3 and greatly, GREATLY enjoyed it.

Wish I played the game sooner in my life instead of procrastinating so long.

I never played this game but I remember spending hours on the DS version and that was an amazing game so would definitely pick this one up!

I really hope the utilise the touch pad for the brush strokes. Will feel so more natural and responsive than the sticks. Can't wait for it tho.

@Wazeddie22 Duuuuude! If you thought the DS version was amazing, prepare to be blown away when you play this game. This game is waaaaaay better than the DS version.

This news makes me so happy especially since there is going to be a physical release. It's just crazy because I was just thinking of hooking up my PS3 to play this now I'll just wait to play it on ps4. It's seriously the best Zelda game ever made and that's including the actual Zelda games

My Wii disk is lying around somewhere, but I haven't yet got round to playing it. Let's see if I can get started on it before the HD PS4 version releases.

@get2sammyb uuummm what?!? Whether we're talking about just a port or a remake How about the SF alpha series, the onimusha series, final fight series, dark watch, viewtiful joe series, magic sword! Though i NEED the sf alpha series playable online what i want most is for capcom to try to remember their past and take that with them and make new IPs. Would LOVE to see them start releasing some old school classic styled (but brand new) capcom 2d games.

Not gonna get this game BUT I do hope for a new game and idc what platform although this is one of the games where motion controls actually work for this kinda game... particularly w the paintbrush but if on PC then the mouse also works well too!

Already got it on my Ps3 hard drive. But as a dumb fanboy, get me a physical release and I will give you my money, Capcom. Again.
