Destiny 2 supposedly has a lot more story than its predecessor, and Bungie's eager to make sure you know that. The game's launch trailer is here, and it's as predictable and as polished as you'd expect. It's crammed full of story cutscene clips with a few bits of gameplay footage thrown in for good measure.
Destiny 2 launches next month, on the 6th September. Not very far away, is it? Will you be returning to your duties as a Guardian? Curse those space rhinos in the comments section below.

That didn't really show us much more than we've seen already.
I will be waiting for reviews first before buying.
@SuperSilverback there's 54 cut scenes in vanilla game, 80 missions and a dozen chickens.

Day one for me as well. I bought it digitally same as I did with the D1. Very much looking forward to playing this.

Day one for me as well, despite my gripes D1 has the finest gunplay in the land.
I'm far more interested in the geography in-game though; Destiny was meant to be a lot more expansive and that, for me, is the primary issue along with more Halo-type elements like strong enemy AI and ships to fly - that's when Bungie will truly hit the landmarks they themselves set.
Alas those things seem distant whilst there's too much emphasis on the story - gamers who'll chug hundreds of hours into this would prefer a more complete next-gen experience, but that's Activision and another thread I guess 😬

I gotta admit that Im hyped , if you look at my post from last year and half I've bad mouthed destiny alot and grant it I feel I had reason. But this is looking to be what I was looking for in D1 , Im so ready , but if it is a let down again. I dunno.
