In a rather amusing video from WIRED featuring Destiny 2 design director Luke Smith, it's revealed that the upcoming sequel will have "something" up its sleeve for returning Destiny players. Smith understandably keeps things vague, but he does say that when the game launches on the 6th September, those who have played the first game "will enter the world a little differently".
Now, we doubt that this is going to be anything substantial, but it'll be nice to see the sequel acknowledge your involvement with the first Destiny - especially since the Tower and everything in it is destroyed during the opening story mission.

I hated D1 so I didn't play it after the BETA I knew it would flop (not in money but it wasn't a good game)...but now I'm interested in playing the sequel! And I think the first game may be worth 15 /20 euros
@AFCC so it didn't flop financially, it retained a huge active player base for years and it's sequel is highly anticipated. So it didn't flop at all really, did it. What you mean is you didn't like it. Which is fair enough, of course

@AFCC it's just your opinion it flopped, just like it's your opinion that it wasn't good. I have a measly 88 friends on PSN, 70 of which put at least 1000 hours into Destiny. Of that 70, half have over 3000 hours including myself. A game doesn't accumulate those kind of numbers if it isn't good. All that said, Omolon Workers Union has a few clan opening left if anyone is looking for a solid group to run with. Clan mates from around the globe.
Maybe a ghost shell with some dollar signs on it? Probably some free FFXV DLC though

@shafedog247 like I said, I tried the beta and I'm sure most people agree that at launch the game was not what was expected! Average reviews and complaints were in great numbers! I dunno about taken king and the updates after that
