Kingdom Come: Deliverance has been hanging around for a while now. The ambitious role-playing game opts for reality rather than fantasy, and it's due out next year on PlayStation 4. But the question that we keep finding ourselves asking is: could this end up being the next big western RPG release?

Every now and then, it feels like a genre-defining RPG hits and people go absolutely mad for it. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim did it back in 2011, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt did it in 2015. Now, we don't think Kingdom Come has quite the same sway as either of those titles, but from where we're standing, it certainly has a promising edge to it, and a bit of that's on show in its latest trailer.

With the right review scores and enough pre-release hype, we could see it being a hit. Obviously it'll also need to be a good game, but based on what we've heard, it's shaping up nicely. What are your predictions? Can you see Kingdom Come making a splash? Sharpen that sword in the comments section below.
