There's just no stopping Crash Bandicoot at the minute. The orange mascot managed to retain his place at the top of the UK software charts for the second week in a row, fighting off the evergreen Grand Theft Auto V, which moved up into second place.
Here's a reasonably impressive fact for you: the last PlayStation exclusive title to last two weeks at number one was Uncharted 4: A Thief's End back in 2016, so Crash is in good company. Elsewhere, Overwatch climbed into the top three, while Horizon: Zero Dawn reappeared in the top ten.
UK Sales Charts: Week Ending 8th July, 2017
- Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Overwatch
- FIFA 17
- Micro Machines World Series
- Battlefield 1
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Call of Duty Infinite Warfare
- Rocket League
- Horizon Zero Dawn

Good stuff, not exactly surrounded by other strong releases though was it?
Nice, this bodes well for ctr remaster
@JoeBlogs Since sony doesn't talk if it's true or console exclusive, I think it will be timed exclusive.
Yup. There was huge demand for this. Crash is going to be in the top list for a long time.
It feels like our top 10 is a rancid cesspool with something good occasionally bobbing up to the surface before being drowned in crap once again.
Great to see out favorite Bandicoot is shining on the sales chart again.
@Matroska Sad, but true.
That Micro Machines has mixed reviews at best, of course it makes the top ten.
Crash besides being good, it has the advantage of being cheap. I wonder as others have said if The Last Guardian and GR2 had debuted at $40 maybe they would have sold more.
SMH
@wiiware @JoeBlogs I wonder if there's any possibility that Sony had a deal with Activision where Crash would stay exclusive if it sold over a certain amount on PS4... It would explain why nobody seems to be able to confirm if it's exclusive or not. It'd be a unique deal but safe for Activision whatever happened and potentially really great for Sony.
Even more impressive consdiering Crash has been sold out in a fair few places since launch
@Morrowbie Maybe, it will be really cool if sony get crash back and make more crash games using it's first or second party studio.
Surprised it sold so well considering everyone had sold out.
