Yuji Horii, designer of the Dragon Quest series, has officially announced that Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will be localised for Western audiences.

In a new video, the veteran developer announces that the game will be translated into five languages, including English. This comes off the back of a PR leak from the beginning of the month which all but confirmed the existence of a Western localisation, but it's still nice to have it officially out there for all to see.

Dragon Quest XI releases for the PlayStation 4 in Japan tomorrow, and while no platforms were announced for the West, it's very safe to assume that PlayStation 4 owners will be able to add this one to their library at some point in 2018.
