Amazon Prime Day 2017 is right around the corner, and it promises to be Christmas for PlayStation fans, with a cavalcade of cut-price consoles, games, and accessories pledged. And the good news is that through 3rd July you can save an enormous £20 on a subscription to the premium shopping service, meaning that you’ll only need to stump up £59.99 for annual access to swift shipping and all of the impending offers.
If the prospect of an enhanced Amazon experience hasn’t fully sold you on the deal yet, then we should add that an Amazon Prime membership will automatically upgrade you to Twitch Prime, which will unlock ad-free viewing, a free channel subscription every 30 days, and one Golden Overwatch loot box and ten basic loot boxes through August and October. The bonuses just don’t stop flowing, do they?

What is Amazon Prime Day 2017?
Imagine the Boxing Day sales, but without turkey sandwiches. And restricted to one retailer. That you, er, need a subscription for. That’s Amazon Prime Day 2017! Seriously, though, the online plaza’s planning to go hard this year, with over 30 hours of insane deals for members only, spanning a slew of different products.
When is Amazon Prime Day 2017?
Amazon Prime Day 2017 gets underway from 6PM BST on 10th July, so make sure you’ve got your Amazon Prime subscription active and your credit card nearby.

Is this discount just in the U.K.?
@ztpayne7 I believe so, yes.
@get2sammyb You going to keep updating this? I still need TLG, GR2, TW3 and H:ZD off the top of my head.
Signed up for 1 month on Friday after receiving an email about Prime day while I was looking to buy the Zelda Expansion Pass, 5% back w/ my cc.
For $20 off I'd probably sign up for the year, I usually do the monthly 3 or 4 times a year, watch a few movies, save a few $. Will be saving $8 on Hey Pikmin so far, so I'm close to even. I'm going to spend way to much next week, but I need stuff.
@rjejr Yes, there will be Amazon Prime Day posts I believe.
@get2sammyb Cheers Sammy, will keep a look out.
Anyone know if this is stackable like a Plus sub? I already have Prime.
Any actual rumours or facts about playstation savings, or is this just pure speculation at this point? I don't have Prime at the moment, but have been thinking about getting a PS4Pro ... if there is any concrete evidence that console deals will be available I might sign up
@rjejr
Horizon is right now $40 on Amazon. Yesterday I got KH 2.8 Limited Edition for $35, actually cheaper than the regular version!
I just done this deal as not had prime but just noticed that I can share this with the misses account as well on Amazon so she can also benefit from the one day delivery without having to use my account, works for TV, videos kindle and delivery prices. so all good.
Corporations have successfully implanted the idea that they "save" you money all the time you are spending. Also you have an option to pay a subscription for that privilege too.
Go figure.
Put money on mass effecr being included
It is amazing how much of this is virtually word for word as that "advertisement" NL is taking flak for. This is pretty pathetic you guys...
@sinalefa Thanks for the Horizon tip, it's on my wishlist. I'm gathering up everything I want on Amazon for the big Prime day sale just in case things get lower. Not just games, I have an electric lawnmower, extension cord, drone, RC car, Raspebrry Pi 3, whatever pops into my head.
