Tekken 7 hasn't gotten off to the smoothest of starts on PlayStation 4. The game's been out for a few days now, but its currently shaky networking systems are stopping a lot of players from enjoying online matches. Whether it's lag ruining fights or the inability to correctly connect with an opponent, there's certainly room for improvement. From what we can tell, the problems are most common on Sony's console.

Fortunately, Bandai Namco says that it's on the case. In an official statement over on tekken.com, the publisher writes: "We have received inquiries from a number of customers regarding situations in which they appear to have trouble matching with other players in Ranked Match. We are currently investigating the issue and plan to address the problem through an online update scheduled to modify the game spec and improve matching." Hopefully we'll see that update land over the next few days.

"More details regarding the update will be posted to the official Tekken site. We apologize for any inconvenience which this may cause in the meantime," the company adds.
