Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami is back with his sophomore survival horror effort: The Evil Within 2. Announced overnight as part of Bethesda’s E3 2017 showcase, and set to release on 13th October for the PlayStation 4, the game plots the return of Detective Sebastian Castellanos, as he descends into the “disturbing world of Union” to save his daughter Lily.
Tango Gameworks is promising the same varied gameplay format as its predecessor, well you’ll have an array of combat options at your fingertips. The reveal trailer is… Filled with some pretty creepy imagery, so it bodes well for the final game. This one’s playable at Bethesda’s booth, so we look forward to seeing more soon.

one of the best games ever.way better than Dragon age inquisition.can't wait for evil within 2
Looking forward to this!! I am 'almost' thankful that a number of games are not expected before 2018 as October now has this, Wolfenstein and Assassins Creed... No doubt Sony will round off E3 by adding more games to my 2017 wanted list....
Looks great. I really need to finish the first game before October.
Gonna take an awful lot to convince me after the mess that was the first one, and excellent releases this year like RE7. I'd love to be won back to the Mikami fanclub, but the first one really felt like a step backwards from RE4.
Yeah I'm not too excited about this one unfortunately. Found the first too slow and clunky.
I lost interest in the first game and never finished. Invisable enemies and grain filter did not help. I would not have rented it if a patch did not offer a full screen option to the stupid cropping of the image.
The trailer here was annoying loud music to uninspiring action shots. From the trailers the next Metro game looks interesting to me, Evil 2 does not.
