So this is a very pleasant surprise. Dying Light, a game that was released in January of 2015, is set to receive a further 10 pieces of downloadable content over the next 12 months.
PCgamesn is reporting that the first pack will contain new enemy types and is set to release "very soon", with later DLC even packing in new story missions.
Dying Light received a large expansion titled The Following in early 2016 and it was assumed that this was the final piece of extra content to be released, but clearly not. This is excellent post-launch support from developer Techland, and we'll have more details for you when we hear what other content is coming for the zombie hit.

Oh wow, that's something I was not expecting. I love Dying Light, so I welcome this surprise.
I really enjoyed this game but I can't see myself going back to it.
Pro support please! And the option to turn off that god forsaken dynamic resolution and motion blur. It really bothers my eyes. THey over did it
I need to get the following dying light is an awesome game
Despite selling my copy after completing the game and dlc this is great news for people that still have it..
So I take it this is instead of Dying Light 2?
Just picked up the enhanced edition for $15, looking forward to getting back into it after renting it previously
Glad I still have the game!
Enjoyed The Following a lot more than the base game!
I'm glad that whole "be the zombie" dlc fiasco didn't drag this game down too much.
Ahh so it's fine for this to receive dlc ages after release but not Ff XV?
@solocapers I think so. FF15 felt empty, far from complete and very rushed towards the end. And there are very specific gaps missing in the story where certain characters are missing in action. Very conveniently placed to hold dlc back for.
Anybody know how I could get my hands on those dlc's in Germany? Dying light never got through censorship in Germany....
@morogan112 set up a new account registrated in another country? Do some googling Im sure its possible.
@morogan112 I think a DLC must be the same country of the main game to work. The easiest solution is to buy the Enhanced Edition on disc from another country.
I'd love if they made a sequel, but Techland has done wonders with it support of this game.
Super excited for this. I'm currently going through the game right now and I love everything about this game: the graphics, the abilities, the setting, the weapons, multi-player, loot and more than anything the numerous easter eggs.
