Yep, you read that headline right - Assassin's Creed Origins' Legendary Edition costs £700. Seven hundred British pounds. Ubisoft's at it again with a whole selection of special editions, and yes, it's published another bloody chart to help you decide which one is for you. Check it out below so that we don't have to try and make sense of it all.
So what do you get in this so-called Legendary Edition? Well, the main selling point is a 73cm statue of protagonist Bayek. The Legendary Edition also gets four exclusive lithographs. The second most expensive edition is the Dawn of the Creed Edition, which comes in at £119.99. So as far as we can tell, when it comes to the Legendary Edition, you're paying an extra £580 for a bigger statue and some prints. Yikes.
The Legendary Edition is exclusive to Ubisoft's own store, and only 999 will be made available worldwide. Worth it? We'll let you decide in the comments section below.

Does it come with a real camel?
Putting them all in a grid with checkboxes was probably the worst idea. For that much money, ALL of those boxes better have checks in them! And then some!
So I could buy an Xbox One X, the Dawn of the Creed edition, Wolfenstein, Evil Within 2 and still have change or 'just' the Legendary edition... hmmm....tempting...NOT
What the...? Seriously, there must be some rich fans out there for them to make 999 of these... A single one would be too much, in my opinion.
@BAMozzy I rather not buy xboxxx and buy 10 games for that money.
that game better come with a plane ticket to egypt for that price
Question though? I thought the gold edition included the Steelbook? From the leaked gold edition article you posted prior? Is that not included now then I take it? Pretty gutted if so.
Oh what has become of this world.
If the statue is PVC, which is what all of UbiCollectible's figures are, then this is definitely NOT worth the asking price. At all.
If it was resin than I could see why they went with this price, but it's still too much.
Does it bring the new Porsche LOL
Bizarre
I wonder is it a clever marketing trick to get people talking about it
... Hang on they've got me too now ...
@Flaming_Kaiser Each to their own but I would rather buy the Xbox X to play a game like this (and others) in 4k...
For that money I'd want the Book of Thoth.
