Not too long ago, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy developer Vicarious Visions held a competition that would determine a new idle animation for everyone's favourite marsupial. For those out of the loop, Crash has had plenty of animations over the years that play out when you don't press any buttons for a while - and this new one's only bolstered our furry friend's comedic charisma.

Designed by competition winners Simon Davidian and Kirsty Capes from the UK, Crash and Aku Aku play some volley ball with a wumpa fruit before the aforementioned mask smashes it right into Crash's face. It's really well done, and you can see it for yourself in the video that we've embedded above.
